hey everyone and welcome back to the blog! Today's post is going to be a bit different from my usual hair and ballet (I'm going to give a ballet update soon, there have been some changes). I haven't really talked much about my eating restrictions, or my IBS, but I just wanted to open up about that a bit. I am gluten free, onion free, and garlic free as part of my IBS regimen. I used to be fair free as well, but I have slowly been re-introducing it into my diet as you will see in this post! I don't eat this everyday, this is just one example of what I might eat in a day. This day of eating was also photographed before I started eating less meat and eating more of a vegetarian diet (do you guys want to see some vegetation meal ideas?) if you are wondering.
B R E A K F A S T - 9:45:
now that it's the summer, I have been waking up later, and because I don't have any early morning activities, I don't force myself to eat unless I'm really up for it. Some days I wake up really hungry and eat a big breakfast, and some days I have no appetite and I just force myself to eat to stay on a semi-normal eating time. On this day, I was a bit hungry, so I had gluten free whole wheat toast with peanut butter, and I topped it with chia seeds, ground flax, psyllium fiber, and organic honey. I also had some ham, and a bunch of cut up organic fruit.

During the school year, I typically have a morning snack around 10-11 (I was eating breakfast at 8), but now that my breakfast is around 10-11, I skip the snacks nd have a heartier and bigger lunch. However, if I do feel hungry, I will grab a snack and eat a slightly later lunch. for snacks, I like to follow the same guidelines as my meals : some kind of carbohydrate such as rice cakes or granola, some protein like cheese, meat, or nuts, and a fresh fruit or vegetable.
L U N C H - 1:30:
I always mix up what I eat, but some of my favorites are any type of eggs, avocado toast, nourish bowls, or leftovers. On this day, I made a taco salad/burrito bowl out of some leftover steak, and rice. I like to make the base of my burrito bowls mostly romaine lettuce, along with some rice thrown on tope. Then I added steak, avocado, tomatoes, some shredded cheese, and had some multi-grain lime tortilla chips.


S N A C K - 4:00:
I typically eat about every 3 hours or so, because that is when I start to get hungry. With my snacks, I like to make them pretty well rounded like my meals, but just mini sized! Today I had a white nectarine (one of my favorite fruits!), some cherry tomatoes, some almonds, and some GF granola. I also had a few sliced of grayer cheese, which is great for if your very sensitive to lactose/dairy, as it has little to no lactose.

D I N N E R - 7:15:
For dinner, I usually have whatever my mom cooks (love you mom!), and she typically cooks pretty yummy and healthy food which is super nice. Today for dinner we had some grilled Vietnamese chicken (ginger-brown sugar-lemongrass wish flavor), some rice, and lots of steamed green beans!

D E S S E R T - 8:15:
If your are wondering, "what does she mean healthy-ish? This all seems very healthy to me...", this is where the fish comes in! I LOVES dessert, and could never go without it, and also cuz, #balance. Today for dessert I had some dairy-free chocolate sorbet, and a mini homemade apple muffin baked by my little brother. Some of my favorite other desserts are popsicles, homemade baked goods, chocolate granola, or sugary cereals!
